Greg Snedeker and Rick Mauran met while working on a studio project together. Shortly after that gig, and having played together live on a couple of occasions, Greg decided he'd like to form a band to serve the Pioneer Valley, New England, and New York, providing the hits of yesterday and today for special events.
It is then that Greg contacted Rick and a couple other musicians, and they got together for a jam session. Two of the guys were not willing to commit at the time, but Rick felt energized by the project, and so he and Greg set out to find the perfect team.
Of course, every band needs a name:
Along with searching for the right members, Greg and Rick began searching for the right name. One day, as Greg and Rick were texting name ideas back and forth, Rick would respond to Greg's choices by saying, "Let me ask Wanda" (Rick's wife). After about the fifth time that Rick responded this way, Greg texted back, "That's it! Ask Wanda!"
With the addition of Guy DeVito (bass, vocals), and Jeremy Milligan (guitar, vocals), the band found it had a well rounded sound, suitable for many genres. Please find some of our video files on this page, and enjoy.
Remember, if you're looking for a band for your special event–
Ask Wanda!
